Our Home School course to help startups build happy, thriving businesses is now into its third week, time flies when you’re learning!

Before we share our recent hangout discussing the work of one of our star pupils Wiro Kuipers (eek you’re all stars really, promise!) we’ve just announced the next call for class in 2015, starting 2nd Feb.

If you want to commit to your entrepreneurial goals in the new year, this is a good place to start.

We’re expecting a high demand for enrolment in the new year, so we encourage you to check out exactly what we cover in the 4 weeks and apply for your place.

Our private community of home school students got talking about Lego Serious Play and how it can be used as a playful intervention.

The community were intrigued by the concept of using Lego to get you thinking more with your hands, and since we couldn’t run a virtual class to practice the method (one day we will!) we were delighted to chat with Wiro Kuipers, a strategist, innovator, Lego Serious Play facilitator and fellow home school student, to talk more about the work he’s doing and give everyone an introduction to the Lego Serious Play concept that he practices.

Wiro is on a mission to bring more happiness to work, by unlocking and activating purpose and meaning. He achieves this using playful interventions, LEGO Serious Play being his favourite by far :)

Your invitation!

We’ve hosted regular 15 min interviews throughout the home school course with founders and leading minds to inspire our students and be introduced to more innovative ways of working or thinking.

On Monday 15th Dec 5.30-5.45pm GMT Laurence will be hanging out with our friend and branding expert Jeremiah Gardner, author of The Lean Brand. He helps startups, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 organisations reframe the way they think about brand innovation, culture, and leadership.

In this short session they’ll talk about what it means to build a lean brand, why the conventional model is broken and how you can learn from startups like Buffer to develop a tribe of passionate customers.

We’d love you to join us. It’s set to be a great session.
